ST. ALBANS – Raymond Barrett died January 25, 2019, in Springwater, N.Y. He was born in St. Albans on May 1, 1943, the son of Raymond and Lola Irene Barrett Messier.
Raymond was a truck driver and retired from Wegmans in Rochester, N.Y.
Survivors include three brothers, Clifton “Jack” Barrette (Joanne Dowling 1943-2013) of Plattsburgh, N.Y. and his family, Lisa Barrette and Stephen Gratto of Morrisonville, N.Y., Christopher Barrette of Brooklyn, N.Y., Shawn Barrette and Angelina Guay of Garner, N.C. and Mary Barrette of Loudonville, N.Y.; Robert Barrett and Mary Klug of Seattle, Wash. and John Barrett and Sharon Enderlin of Rush, N.Y. and their family, Aimee Barrett of Rochester, N.Y. and John Barrett, Jr of Henrietta, N.Y.; his two sisters, Gloria Barrett Rogers of Lecanto, Fla. and her family, Timothy Rogers and Katherine DeMarse of Swanton, Jodee Rogers and John Bryce of St. Albans, Merilea Rogers and Gerald Adams of Lecanto, Fla., Darla Rogers and Hans Dieter Ley of Hernando, Fla., Jamie Rogers 1961-2017, Shelley Rogers and Barry Kurt Wiggins of Rochester, Pattie Jean Doyle of Barrington, N.H. and Randy Doyle of Plaistow, N.H. and Patricia Barrett and Claude Lussier of Swanton, and their family, Brian Lussier of Massachusetts, Lori Lussier and Marcel Yandow of Concord, N.C. and Kevin Lussier and Kelly Rice of Highgate, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, South Main Street, St. Albans, VT. Assisting the Barrett family is the Heald Funeral Home.
