ST. ALBANS – Carol Ann (Turner) Cells, 81, a resident at Above & Beyond at the Knights, in Allentown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
Carol was born in Saint Albans, a daughter of the late Harold and Lorretta (Lafley) Turner.
Carol was a high school graduate of Bellows Free Academy, in St. Albans, class of 1957. Carol worked for Mountainview Youth Correctional Facility, in New Jerset until her retirement in 2000. She was a loving and dedicated wife to Ronald J. Cells for 61 years. Carol was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, in New Jersey for many years, and the Red Hats Club in Florida. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by three children, Dale Cells and his wife Amy, of Pohatcong, N.J., Sherie Refalvy and her husband Eric, of Holland Twp., N.J., Suzanne Hahola and her boyfriend Kevin Ross, of Forks Twp., 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her foster mother Ethel McGown, 6 sisters and a brother.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, (Palmer twp.), PA., followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 7 p.m.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
