Due to retirement the County of Franklin is seeking applications for the position of County Clerk It is anticipated that the County Clerk's position will be a flexible, part time (8-12 hours/week avg.) position based on the needs of the court and with concurrence of the Assistant Judges. This position requires that the selected candidate be able to sit, stand, lift (sometimes up to 50 lbs), bend, climb stairs, and other similar activities. Excellent customer service skills required. Legal or law office experience is a plus but not required. Successful candidate will be required to train, and be certified to process U.S. passport applications. Rate of pay is hourly, and will be dependent on qualifications.
