ENOSBURGH — Mrs. Yvonne H. Bevins, age 89, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at the Northwestern Medical Center. She was born in Churubusco, N.Y., May 28, 1925, daughter of the late Isaac M. and Laura (Dumas) Trombly. She married Winfred R. “Bim” Bevins June 16, 1947. Mr. Bevins died March 2, 1989. She worked for the Union Carbide Corp. for many years. She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church, and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
Yvonne is survived by her two sons, Alan Bevins of Cedar Park, Texas, and Michael Bevins of St. Albans, two granddaughters, Christina and her husband, Wilbur Travis, of Georgia, Vt., their children Thomas, Alexander, and Samuel, and Tricia and husband, Jon Fiske, of St. Albans, and their children, Andrew and Meredith, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Winfred “Bim”, and her four brothers Roy, Norman, Hubert and Gerald Trombly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church. Interment will follow in the Bevins family lot in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brady and Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening.
