One hundred and sixty-two teams and Ironman/Ironwoman competitors took part in Sunday’s Bay Day triathlon, though the Coast Guard mandated elimination of the on-water portion of the race because of high winds and waves. Only championship-division teams were allowed onto the Bay for a shortened third leg of the triathlon, won by Team Hazel (Nick Cooper, Peter Medgal, Clyde Yarnell and Neal Sand). Ironman and woman champions were Damian Bolduc and Shari Bashaw.
