SHELDON/ENOSBURG — On September 20, 2014, Kayla West and Christopher Panko were united in marriage. Kayla is the daughter of Pete and Vicki West of Sheldon and Chris is the son of Steven Panko and Marguerite Panko, both of Enosburg. The ceremony and reception took place at Franklin County Field Days with Justice of the Peace and family friend, Steve Dodd, officiating. Jesse West, brother of the bride and Mark Churchill, friend of the bride & groom played acoustic guitar for the ceremony. During the reception live music was played by Pete West, Jon Johnson, & Jake Johnson.
The maid of honor was friend of the bride Jenny Dodd. Bridesmaids included Grace Borst, Ashley Toof, Sarah Zeno, Michelle Bourgeois, Morgan Webb, and sisters of the bride Olivia & Alayna West. Flower girls were Vanessa & Marissa Hayes, nieces of the groom. The best man was Tyler Lovelette, friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Pat Kittell, Doug Edwards, Mike Tilton, Kevin Michel, and Cody West, brother of the bride.
Kayla is a 2013 graduate of UVM with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and in nursing. She is employed as a RN on the Mother/Baby Unit at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Chris is a 2006 graduate of Norwich with a degree in Environmental Science. He is employed at Environmental Hazards Management, Inc. in Williston.
The couple plans on honeymooning to Jamaica in January and reside in their home in Georgia.
