ST. REGIS FALLS — Wayne Hayden Longley, 72, of St. Regis Falls, died Feb. 27, 2014 at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y.
Born in Lowell, Vt., on July 9, 1941, he was the son of Floyd Hayden and Viola Louise Lumbra Longley. Mr. Longley was a self-employed over the road truck driver. On Aug. 10, 1979, he married the former Sharon Jaskot in Plainville, Conn. She survives as well as two songs, David and Ashley Longley, of Sheldon, Edward and Deneen Longley of Caldwell, Idaho, three daughters, Jane Longley and Scott Campbell, of Milton, Tina Cross and Rusty Brace, of Highgate, and Kelsea Longley of St. Regis Falls, N.Y., eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, eight brothers and one sister.
Mr. Longley’s requested there be no services, however, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Meals on Wheels, in care of the Association of Senior Citizens, 355 W. Main Street in Malone NY 12953. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Spaulding Funeral Home of Malone.
