SWANTON — Our father and friend, Thomas John Cronin, passed away in his sleep peacefully in the early morning hours on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Tom and Eve Cronin, and their family of eight children (Tom, George, Mary, Chris, John, Maureen, Michael and Rose) called Swanton our home throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s. It was a storybook upbringing with many friends and neighbors that are always in our thoughts.
Dad always spoke kindly of all our Vermont friends, too many to mention. We were all defined and shaped by our Dad (and our Mom, who lives in Palmetto, Fla.). We miss you Dad and thank you for all you gave. We will do our best to follow your example and make decisions based on what you taught us throughout our lives. We will meet again, but until we do, know that we are all better, brighter, and happier because of your smile, patience, tolerance, generosity and sharp wit. For now, so long Dad. Slainte!
To remember our dad, you may wish to consider a donation to one of his favorite charities: Camp Allen in Bedford, New Hampshire (CampAllenNh.org) or the Border Patrol Museum in El Paso, Texas (BorderPatrolMuseum.com).
