BAKERSFIELD – Mr. Thomas E. Dezotelle, age 74, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Johnson, after an illness. He was born in St. Albans on Oct. 4, 1938, son of the late Woodroe and Olive (Girard) Dezotelle. Tom served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He returned home to own and operate his own insulation installation company. He was a member of MENSA, and the American Legion Mount Mansfield Post # 35 in Cambridge. He enjoyed reading, especially the history of the Civil War.

Tom is survived by his 2 children, Lori Pike and her companion Hilari Lipton of Rio Rancho, N.M., son Thomas Dezotelle II and his wife Jennifer of Swanton, 4 grandchildren, Zachary and Samantha Dezotelle, Michael and Alex Pike, his 3 brothers, Brigham Dezotelle and his wife Nancy of Johnson, Carl Dezotelle and his wife Candi of Bakersfield and Landon Dezotelle of Johnson, a sister-in-law Mary Dezotelle of Bakersfield, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Bruce Dezotelle

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony and St. George Church in East Fairfield. Interment will follow in the Dezotelle family lot in St. George Cemetery in Bakersfield. Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
