VENICE, Fla. — Theresa Pigeon, 86, formerly of Georgia, Vt. passed away at her home in Venice, on June 28 surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Highgate to Annette (Daignault) and Edeas Beaulieu on Dec. 21, 1929, Theresa married George Pigeon on May 10,1949. Together they operated a dairy farm in Georgia where they spent 40 years raising their three children and building a happy life together. They retired and sold the farm in 1989, moving to Florida and returning for summers at their camp on Maquam Shore, Swanton.
Theresa loved managing the farm’s finances, square dancing, playing cards, cooking and spending summers on Lake Champlain with George. She especially loved visits from her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, George Pigeon, her three children and their spouses, Maurice and Patricia Pigeon, Robert and Lois Pigeon, and Yvette Pigeon and Fred “Chico” Lager. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by a sister, Rolande Messier of Connecticut.
