SWANTON — An unidentified man robbed the TD Bank in Swanton Village around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to Swanton Village Police Chief Leonard “Joey” Stell, the man was described as between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored jacket, dark hat, sunglasses and gloves. The robber was unarmed.

Stell reports the suspect approached a teller and demanded all of the money in the drawer. He then left and got into a blue pickup truck and was last seen driving east on Canada Street.

“He left with a box containing money, an undisclosed amount,” said Stell.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Swanton Village Police Department at 802-868-4100.
