SWANTON — Mr. Stephen A. Cook, age 59, died Monday, Aug. 3, 2015 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in St. Albans, Oct. 18, 1955, son of the late Stephen A. Cook, Sr. and Catherine (Paquette) Cook. He married Liza Guilbault June 17, 1978. Steve worked in as a machine operator for the Triangle Metal Fabrication Company. He enjoyed watching TV, being an item collector, riding his four-wheeler, playing poker games at the casino, dancing, deer hunting and being with his family. He will be remembered as a hard worker by many.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Liza Cook of Swanton; his daughters, Tonya Lynn Sisco and her wife Danielle of Enosburgh, Stephanie Ann Cook and her companion Ron Young of Swanton, and Jenny Alger of Winooski; his son, Allen Joseph Cook and his wife Sharron of Highgate; seven grandchildren, Kaylie and Kylie Young, Timmy, Hank, Nolan and Laura Alger; his brother, David Cook; his sisters, Valerie Corey, Cathy Clark, both of Enosburgh, Michelle Cook of New Hampshire, and Lynn Cook of St. Albans; a brother-in-law, Thomas Guilbault, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private funeral service will be held in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
