WATERBURY — On Saturday, June 20, 2015, Laura Stebbins and Benjamin Hardie were united in marriage on the shores of Lake Champlain in Georgia, Vermont. Laura is the daughter of Teresa Stebbins and the late David Stebbins of Georgia, Vermont. Ben is the son of Holly and Skip Hardie of Lansing, New York. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Kerry Cameron of Highgate. Holly Hardie and Marie Brouillette, grandmother of the bride, shared readings. Laura was given in marriage by her brother, Eric Stebbins and step-father, Donnie Richards, and was attended by her sister, Kristine Stebbins as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were sister of the groom, Caitlin Hardie, Lindsay Wright, friend of the bride, and Elizabeth Knight, friend of the bride. Groomsmen were brothers of the groom, Adam Hardie and Joe Hardie, and brother of the bride, Eric Stebbins. Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held at the lake. The couple would like to thank all who attended. Laura and Ben spent a week at the lake following their wedding and will honeymoon in the Maldives in October. They’ve made their home in Waterbury, Vermont.
