SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Jessica A. Squires, daughter of Roger & Teresa Squires of Syracuse, N.Y., and Matthew L. Longley, son of Wayne Longley of Richford, and Roseann Longley of Enosburg Falls, were united in marriage on July 30, 2011.
A double ring ceremony was performed by Father Jon Werner, at St. John the Baptist Church in Syracuse, N.Y.
The Matron of Honor was Maggie Smith, aunt of the bride. The Maid of Honor was Jennifer Cook, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashley Hardenburgh, cousin of the bride; Kristen Longley, close friend of the bride and groom; Erin Rowe and AnneMarie Bryce, sisters of the groom. Kylie Bryce, niece of the groom, was Junior Bridesmaid. Olivia Cook and Kaitlyn Smith were the flower girls.
The Best Man was Shaun Couture, best friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Chris Squires, brother of the bride; Wayne Carpenter, close friend of the groom; Brad Sylvester, cousin of the groom; Leo Sylvester, uncle of the groom; and Robbie Keefe, close friend of the groom and “brother” of the bride. Ryan Bryce, nephew of the groom, was the Junior Groomsman. Logan Longley, godson to the bride and groom, was the ring bearer.
Jessica wore a soft ivory lace gown with a sweetheart neckline, and a custom made veil by “My Fairy Dress Mother,” Nancy. The flowers were lilies, roses and carnations. The reception was held at Tradition’s, at the Links in East Syracuse, N.Y.
Mrs. Longley is a 2001 graduate from Henninger High School in Syracuse, N.Y. She is currently enrolled at CCV for a degree in Nursing. She is employed at Northwestern Medical Center.
Her husband is a 1995 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School, and is employed at Mylan Technologies.
The couple took a mini-honeymoon trip to Martha’s Vineyard and Cape Cod, and will take a honeymoon trip in 2012.
The bride and groom have built their home in Enosburg Falls.
