ST. ALBANS BAY — Shirley Ann (Lowery) LaRose, 74, was received by her Savior Saturday May 14, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 20, 1941 in Williamstown. She married Paul LaRose and together they raised seven children. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, along with her children and their spouses; Deborah and Charles LePage, Bruce LaRose, Kathy and Steve Spelman, Christine and Joseph Sainz, Suzanne and Gary Jacobs, Joanne LaRose, Jennifer and Peter Bombard, 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mervin and Ethel (Bea) Laird Lowery; brother, Michael Lowery, and survived by her sister, Joyce (Lowery) Goulette.

Shirley retired from the State of Vermont after 30 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, spending time at their home on Lake Champlain, tending her flowers and riding her bike. She got great enjoyment from reading her books.

At Shirley’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A private service will be held with her family. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to AmCare Ambulance Services PO Box 207 St Albans, VT 05478-0207.
