ST. ALBANS — Ryan Andrew Kubas, 25, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, surrounded by family and loved ones, after a long-time battle with cancer.

Ryan was born Dec. 24, 1988 to Bonnie Kubas. Ryan was a life-long resident of St. Albans and graduated from Bellows Free Academy in 2007. Ryan enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for vehicles and woodworking and enjoyed the outdoors. Ryan is best remembered for his great sense of humor and courageous spirit. He left an impression on those he encountered.

Ryan leaves behind his mother, Bonnie Kubas of St. Albans; his sisters, Michelle Dishaw of Panton and Sherie Dishaw of St. Albans; Nieces Kali and Kristen Tipper; nephews Gadge Puro, Keith Sinclair and Kc Helwig; aunts and uncles, Daniel Kubas, Nancy and Wayne Fiske, John Kubas and special Aunt Janet Champagne; and several cousins.

He also leaves behind close childhood Friends, Kyle and Chris Gagne, Will Nesbitt and Bryan Helwig. He also leaves numerous close friends.

Services for Ryan will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 5 p.m. at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St., St. Albans. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at the convenience of Ryan’s family.
