EAST FAIRFIELD — Mr. Ronald Gagnon, age 80, passed away Tuesday evening, Jan. 5, 2016, at the St. Albans Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Burlington, July 20, 1935, son of the late George and Ruth (Merrick) Gagnon. He graduated from Burlington High School. He served his country in the Vermont Army National Guard from 1952 to 1962. He was employed for 20 years as a truck driver for McDermott’s Trucking. Ronald enjoyed Indian and Harley Davidson Motorcycles, guns, reloading ammunition, hunting, cooking, and mostly just living for the day.

Ronald is survived by his nephews, Don Gagnon and his wife, Michelle, of Fairfax, and Todd Menieur, of Georgia, a niece, Carla Whitney, of Swanton, along with many grand-nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service of Christian Burial will be held in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Chapel, 86 South Main St., St. Albans, on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. with Father Soosai Raj, Parochial Vicar at St. John the Baptist Church in Enosburgh.
