ST. ALBANS — The nine-month-old community health and wellness program, Rise VT, ranks in the top 85 percentile of obesity prevention programs, according to the director of EPODE.

“It’s a pretty amazing thing,” Dorey Demers, coordinator of Rise VT, said. “I think that we have the right players at the table… To get that validated, that this is the movement that we need to be moving forward is really reaffirming.”
