ST. ALBANS — Jean passed away on Sept. 6, 2015 after a short illness.  She was born on Dec. 21, 1954 to Reginald and Evelyn (Deso). Wilson Jean worked at Yankee Corp. and Breakyard for many years.  Jean was a Johnson State College graduate with a Masters Degree in Social Services.  Jean will be remembered for her dedication to her family and being a very hard worker.

Jean leaves her two children, her daughter Linda Minor and her fiancé Tony Hughes, her son Raymond Machia all of St. Albans; four grandchildren, Christopher Minor and his wife Ashley, Katie Minor, Briana Machia and Kyra Machia-Hanson; two great-grandchildren Cadden and Mariah Minor.  Jean also leaves her siblings, her brother Gary Wilson of St. Albans, her sisters Susan Dubois of Huntington, and Debra Downes and her husband Ronald Downes, Sr. of Highgate Center.  She was predeceased by her parents Reginald and Evelyn Wilson; Maternal grandparents Charles and Nelli Deso; Paternal grandparents Francis and Doris Wilson; a brother-in-law Gerald Dubois, Sr., and a nephew Michael Downes.

The family would like to give a special thank you and gratitude to Jean’s children Linda and Ray for their excellent care and compassion they showed Jean, that we are grateful for.
