ST. ALBANS — Pauline Tiffany Cunningham, 81, passed away peacefully at home in St. Albans on Sunday, March 9, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Pauline was born in Fairfield on June 27, 1932, the daughter of Silas Morris and Mary (Leach) Tiffany. She graduated from Enosburg Falls High School in 1950, and upon graduation from the School of Radiologic Technology at Mary Fletcher Hospital in 1954, she worked at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Conn. In 1958, Pauline married her husband, Daniel James Cunningham from County Cork, Ireland, and two years later they relocated back to Vermont.
Pauline was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Martha (Tiffany) Clifford; her brother, Silas Morris Tiffany, Jr.; and her three brothers-in-law, Vernon Rich, Lucius Hibbard, and John Clifford.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; her sisters, Ardelle (Tiffany) Rich, Helen (Tiffany) Hibbard, all from St. Albans; her son and his wife, Daniel James and Annemarte Cunningham from Enosburg; and her daughter, Kathleen Anne Cunningham from Denver, Colo.; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
