ST. ALBANS — Mrs. Pauline Desjardins, age 80, died Sunday evening, Jan. 25, 2015 at the Northwestern Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 19, 1934, in St. Albans, daughter of the late Arthur and Harriet (Nichols) Rocheleau. Pauline married Laurent Desjardins June 30, 1956. Laurent Desjardins died July 1, 1999. Pauline was a communicant of Holy Angels Church, and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.

Pauline is survived by her children Louise Machia and her husband, Keith, of Highgate, Denise Mosher and her husband, Allan, of Georgia, Paul Desjardins and his companion, Michelle Nguyen, of Indiana, and Pierre Desjardins and his companion, Christine Rice, of Williston, four grandchildren, Danielle and Sam Desjardins, brother Lawrence Machia, O.S.B., and Aubrey Desjardins, a brother Robert Rocheleau and his wife, Virginia, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., several nieces, to include a special niece Jackie Skeels, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, Larry, she was predeceased by her sister Beatrice Rocheleau, and brothers Wilfred, Maurice, Andrew, Elphage, and Phillipe.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the spring in the Desjardins family lot in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
