Parent - Howrigan

SWANTON / FAIRFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Jacques and Mariel Parent of Swanton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lise Parent, to Alex Howrigan, son of Thomas and Susan Howrigan of Fairfield.
Ms. Parent graduated from Missisquoi Valley Union High School in 2004 and Champlain College in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in business. She is presently employed at Wiemann Lamphere Architects as the marketing and business development director. Mr. Howrigan graduated from Bellows Free Academy in 2005, and Vermont Technical College in 2007 with an Associate's degree in construction practice and management. He is presently co-manager of the family dairy farm and maple sugaring operation.
A summer wedding is planned for Aug. 24, 2013.
