Whitney - Strider

SWANTON — Lydia Whitney and David Strider were married in an afternoon ceremony at the Little White Church in Highgate Springs, on Sept. 8, 2012. The bride is the daughter of Debra Whitney and the late Carlton Whitney of Franklin. The groom is the son of Douglas and Dilys Strider of Swanton.
The ceremony was officiated by Debora Grennon, aunt of the bride. The bride's best friend, Kristin Choiniere was maid of honor. Sisters of the Bride Megan Reynolds and Katelin Whitney were bridesmaids as well as close friend Ellie Danyow. The groom's nephew Jimmy Grandchamp was best man. The groomsman Craig Rainville, Arnaldo "Tito" Rios, and Jason Smith are all close friends of the groom. Abigail Whitney, niece of the bride, was the flower girl and ring bearers were nephews of the bride Beau Reynolds and Jackson Reynolds.
The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Mrs. Strider is currently working at FCI Federal in St. Albans and Mr. Strider is a Systems Administrator for General Dynamics also in St. Albans. They currently reside in Swanton.
