ST. ALBANS / DUXBURY — Amanda Alexandria Quintela and Devin Robert Franklin were married Aug. 4, 2012, in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Green Mountains in Duxbury. Scott Petrin, Justice of the Peace and cousin of the groom, performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of SS Anthony and Margareta Quintela of St, Albans. The groom is the son of Dale and Kathleen Franklin of Duxbury.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Alexandra Quintela, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Franklin and Darcy Franklin, sisters of the groom.
The groom was attended by his brother, Darin Franklin, as best man. Groomsmen were Richard Manning and Charles Doe, friend of the groom. Ushers were Gavin Reiner and Paul Manfredi.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Champlain College, where she received a bachelor's degree. She is employed as a reporting specialist by HP Enterprise Services of Williston.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Vermont Technical College, where he received a bachelor’s degree. He is employed as a Software Engineer by United Technologies Corporation, formerly known as the Goodrich Corporation of Vergennes.
The couple resides in Charlotte, Vermont.
