Cota - Nelson

MONTGOMERY — Roberta Baker and James Cota are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney J. Cota, to Thomas D. Nelson, son of Mike and Sandra Nelson.
Whitney received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science at Lyndon State College this spring. She plans to pursue her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy once the newlyweds are stationed at Fort Drum, N.Y. She is currently working at the Snow Shoe Lodge in Montgomery Center.
The groom-to-be, Thomas, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army at Norwich University this spring. He is currently working as a private environmental health and safety consultant until he reports for active duty in December.
The couple is planning a wedding on a Sept. 22, 2012, in Montgomery Center.
