Fleming-Haddad
SHELDON — Kevin and Anne Fleming of Sheldon are pleased to announce the marriage of their fourth and youngest daughter, Norma Fleming, to Mike Haddad of Foxboro, Mass. The ceremony and reception took place on June 23, 2012 at the Foxboro Church of Emmanuel, officiated by Rev. Jason McConnell.
Matrons of Honor were Norma’s sisters Adrienne and Clare Brueckner. Additional bridesmaids were sister of the groom, Catherine Haddad, and friends of the Bride Grace Metayer, Brianna St. Amour and Carrissa Gaylord. Mike’s Best Men were his brothers Johnnie and Robby Haddad. His youngest brother, Jonathan, along with friends Dave Eckhart and Luke Reynolds were also groomsmen.
Mike and Norma met through the Gordon Conwell Compass program in the summer of 2009 and each chose mentors to follow up with them throughout the past three years. Norma’s mentor, Pam Deuso shared Scripture, while Mike’s mentor, Andy Geffers gave a brief sermon during the ceremony.
Norma’s mother sewed the Bridal gown, the silk flowers were arranged by Michelle Kaiser, and the Bride’s jewelry was provided by Mike’s mother: Cindi’s Diamond and Jewelry Shop. Jon Varney, Mike’s guitar teacher and friend, presented the music throughout the ceremony, while Jennifer McConnell led the congregational song. Varney, Dave Eckhart and Dave Coccia also performed live Jazz music at the reception.
Norma is a 2010 graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union. Mike graduated from Foxboro High School in 2010. Both are entering into their junior year at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where they will reside for the next two years.
