David Strider and Lydia Whitney

FRANKLIN / SWANTON — Debra Whitney and the late Carlton Whitney of Franklin are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Lydia Ann Whitney to David William Strider, son of Douglas and Dilys Strider of Swanton.

Lydia is a 2002 graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School and is currently studying at The Community College Of Vermont and is currently employed at Fed Consulting Inc. David is a 1995 graduate of MVUHS and is currently employed as a Systems Administrator for General Dynamics Information Technology.

A September wedding is planned.
