MILTON — On Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, Julia Mitiguy and Jason Callan were united in marriage at the home of Julia’s parents on Lake Champlain. Julia is the daughter of Chris and MJ Mitiguy of Milton. Jason is the son of Jack and Cecile Callan of Fairfield.

The double ring ceremony was officiated by Tom Cook of Enosburg. John Foley grandfather of the bride, provided the opening blessing. Cathy Geib aunt of the bride and Mike Norris cousin of the groom shared readings. Bruce Lee provided bagpipe music for the ceremony. Bridesmaids were Hillary Lynn, Betsy Hickey and Annie Mackin friends of the bride. The Best man was Dan Bergeron friend of the groom.

Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held at the Mitiguy home.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Vermont and Johnson State College and is employed as a Behavior Consultant at Northwestern Counseling and Support Services. The groom is a graduate of Enosburg Falls High School and is a salesman at Leader Evaporator.

Julia and Jason spent a week on Lake Champlain following their wedding and have made their home in Sheldon.
