ST. ALBANS — Miss Claire A. Therrien, age 81, passed away late Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at the Franklin County Rehab Center. She was born in Alburg Springs on Feb. 8, 1934, the daughter of the late Elphege and Cecile (Chevalier) Therrien. She was a member of the Sisters of the Holy Cross from 1952 to 1959 and was employed at the Franklin Lamoille Bank for 31 years and she finished her career with U.S. Naturalization & Immigration. Claire was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, a member of the Hi Swans Senior Citizens, the Franklin County Senior Center and a member of the 251 Traveling Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many close friends.

Claire leaves one loving sister Jeannine (Therrien) Ostiguy of St. Albans; her niece and Goddaughter Pauline (Ostiguy) Brouillette and her husband Mike; her nephew Michael Ostiguy and his wife Linda; her nieces Joan Ostiguy, Denise Beers, Sue Dunbar; several great-nieces and great-nephews; many close friends, and her friend since childhood, Doris LeClaire. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lise Therrien, Rita Rexford, her brother Paul Therrien and his wife Anita, and her brother-in-law Gerald Ostiguy.

Family and Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 at 1 p.m., in Holy Angels Church. There will be no calling hours.
