ST. ALBANS — Marion T. Lepper a former resident of this community passed away early Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at the John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Conn.. Born in St. Albans on Oct. 5, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Colin and Nellie (Delligan) Turnbull. Marion was 97 years old. Marion was married in St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Aug. 21, 1938, to Gordon W. Lepper, who preceded her in death on May 17, 1983. Marion was educated in St. Albans and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She and Gordon moved to Unionville, Conn. and began careers with Pratt & Whitney, where she retried following 21 years of employment. Survivors include her son, William and his wife, Linda, of Canton, Conn.; her daughter, Marcia Alward and her husband, Allen, of Winter Haven, Fla.; her grandchildren, Debora Lyons, Ralph Muszynski, Jr., Marie Lepper, Michele Lepper, MacAlan Alward, Jessica Alward and Timothy Alward; her great-grandchildren, Crystile Lyons, Michael Lyons, Jr., Hailey Alward and Hanna Alward. In addition to her parents and husband, Gordon, Marion was preceded in death by her daughter, Carole Muszynski and her husband, Ralph. At Marion’s request funeral services will be private at the Heald Funeral Home with the Reverend Maurice J. Roy of the St. Albans Catholic Family officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Greenwood Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.
