SWANTON — Margaret Ann Puttick, age 63 years, a resident of the Swanton community for 30 years died early Monday morning, Jan. 26, 2015, at the Birchwood Terrace Health Care Center in Burlington.
Born in Lachine, Quebec Canada on April 3, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ellen (Farrell) Minto. She attended schools in Montreal and on July 1, 1972, was married to Gerald Puttick who survives her.
Margaret was the office manager at Sunhill Foods of Vermont for several years. She was always very involved with family attending countless hockey and little league games.
In addition to her husband, Gerald, Margaret leaves a daughter, Kelly Lamos and husband, Shane, of Saint Albans; two sons, Christopher Puttick of Bolton and Andrew Puttick and his wife, Kara, of Holyoke, Mass.; a sister, Susan Dixon and husband Eric; two brothers, Paul Minto and wife, Denyse, and Gerard Minto, all of Canada; seven grandchildren, Logan, Seneca, Anna, Libby, Bayler, Caroline and Aiyana as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton on Friday January 30, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. All family and friends are encouraged to attend a celebration of Margaret’s life that will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Blooming Minds Enrichment Center, 1A Lemnah Drive, Saint Albans City.
