IRASBURG —Lucille M. Kinerson, 82, of Irasburg, Vt., passed away on July 21, 2014 in Newport, Vt. She was born on Sept. 9, 1931 in Sheldon, Vt., to Albert and Ida (Jutras) Menard. Lucille was a supervisor for housekeeping at the Maple Lane Nursing Home in Barton for many years. She enjoyed her family and family gatherings. She loved to watch the red sox.
She is survived by her children: Michelle McCormick and her husband, Mac, of Barton, Vt., Jeff Roy of Irasburg, Vt., and James Roy and his wife, Susan, of Fairfax. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Amy and Steph of Warren, Vt., Chad and Amanda of Coventry, Vt., Brian and Karen of Orleans, Vt., Andrew and Michael of Montpelier, Zachary and Michael of Fairfax, by great grandchildren: Christopher, Keaton, Maggie, Graydon, and Bryce.
She is also survived by her siblings: Gerald Menard of California, Daniel Menard of Fairfield, Vt., Ruth Brousseau of California, Hortence Vanslette of Highgate, and Anita Paradee of Enosburg, and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Stephen and Larry, by two brothers Furman and Pete and by two sisters: Marion and Minnie.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday July 24, 2014 at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, 4670 Darling Hill Road, Newport. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday July 25, 2014 at the St. John’s Baptist Catholic Church in Enosburg, VT with the Rev. Charbonneau celebrating a mass of Christian burial.
