BOSCAWEN, N.H. — Lorraine Mary Sinclair, age 86 years, died surrounded by family on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Born in Swanton on April 11, 1927, she was one of seven children born to the late Louis and Anna (Morits) Campano. She was a long time resident of Fairfax, where she raised her two sons. Family, friends, and neighbors were very important to Lorraine. She will always be remembered for her loving friendships and she spoke often in her later years of her neighbors: The Ledoux’s and the Nichols.
She is survived by her loving sons; Gerald Wells and his wife, Susan, of Swanton, Clement Wells and his wife, Rita, of Essex; her grandchildren; Steven, Anthony,
Jennifer, Bonnie, Kristina, and Melissa; and ten great-grandchildren. She leaves her siblings of Swanton; Cecile Richard and husband, James, Armand Campano and wife, Priscilla, Annette Lewis and husband, Fred, of Concord, N.H., who were her special devoted care givers the past few years, sisters in law; Alma Wells and Myrnie Derauchie; and many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, Anthony L. Wells, in 1976, and David Sinclair in 2007, and her siblings Clem, Larry, and Theresa. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Merrimack County Nursing Home for their kindness and exceptional care during Lorraine’s seven-year stay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 17,2014 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Nativity in Swanton with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
