ST. ALBANS — Lisa Jane Zdziarski passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Fletcher Allen Health Care with her loving family at her side.

Born on July 29, 1975, in St. Albans, the daughter of Tony and Jane Zdziarski, Lisa was 38 years old.

Lisa was a 1993 graduate of Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans and then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in social work from the University of Vermont. Until November of 2012, when her illness made her unable to work, she was with the Fletcher Allen Health Care Social Work Department.

Lisa is survived by her parents, Tony and Jane of St. Albans; her sister, Kristina Brenner and her husband, Andrew; “the lights of her life,” niece, Lily Jane and nephew, Noah; her grandmother, Janice M. Benson and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lisa is also survived by her “Slumber Party Buddies”, David Gervais and Ursula McVeigh, and many other special friends along with her furry friend, Oso. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, A. Raymond Benson.

Her family would like to thank Lisa’s Doctors, Jaina Clough and Nancy Drucker, for the care and support to Lisa and her family during her illness.

A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Sheraton Conference Center, 870 Williston Road, Burlington.
