BROOKLYN, N.Y. —Lillian Rahne, 91, died peacefully on April 17, 2014. She was born on Nov. 14, 1922 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She married Raymond Rahne in 1947 and then moved to Massapequa Park, N.Y. The family spent many summers camping around New England. In 1973 they moved to Groton, Vt., where they resided for 40 years. Lillian enjoyed sewing, quilting and knitting. She and Raymond also set up at numerous flea markets in the summertime. Lillian is survived by her husband, Raymond, of 67 years, son Pastor Kenneth Rahne and his wife, Laura, of Charleston, N.H., their two children Corey and Gene and six great-grandchildren, daughter Susan Wright and her husband, Craig, of Georgia, Vt., grand-daughter Michleen, her partner, Nate, great-grandchildren Cole and Bennett and grandson Kyle Wright.
