RICHFORD — Lesley Anne Combs, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 while visiting her sister in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
She was born Jan. 1, 1972 in Burlington the daughter of Melvin and Esther (Johnson) Combs.
Lesley loved her kitty’s, flowers, birds, bowling and TY collection. Her love of animals led her to volunteer at the Franklin County Humane Society. Les was an honorary member of the Richford American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her parents, Melvin and Esther Combs of Richford; a sister, Yolande “Lonnie” Oertli and her husband, Roger of Lethbridge, Alberta, Calif.; a brother, Jason Combs of Richford; Aunt’s and Uncle’s, Donna and Richard Ryea, Homer and Nadine Wetherby, Lorraine Jewett, Alice Combs, Delbert Jr. and Tammy Combs, Ronald Combs, Lulah Lavery; great uncle, Orval and Mary Combs; her good friends, Kathy and Bill Gaston and family and Laurel Meunier; several friends and cousins and her Maine Coon Cat, Andy. Lesley was predeceased by her grandparents, Clyde and Evelyn Johnson and Delbert Sr. and Mildred Combs and an aunt, Regina Stewart.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating.
