ST. ALBANS- Mr. Kevin J. Keefe, age 62, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the UVM Medical Center. He was born in Barre, Vt., Jan. 18, 1956, son of the late Francis and Dina (Beaudoin) Keefe. He was a graduate of the Northeastern Clinton Central High School. Kevin studied at Pan American University, receiving his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. May 13, 1978 he married Peggy Parmenter. Kevin worked as a Supervisor/ Special Officer for the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Retiring Jan. 1, 2009. His enjoyments were professional body building, being an avid Atlanta Falcons and Braves fan, and working in his yard. He will be forever remembered for his love of spending time with his grandchildren, and teasing the people he loved.
Kevin is survived by his wife Peggy Keefe of St. Albans, his daughters Kelly Taylor and her husband Jeffrey of Peabody, Mass. and Kerry Thuman and her husband Steven Sager of Atlanta, Ga., his grandchildren, Abigail Thuman-Keefe, John Taylor and Jackson Taylor, his brother and sisters, Michael Keefe and his wife Karen of Manchester, N.H., Kathy Ryan and her husband David of Champlain, N.Y., Thomas O’Keefe and his wife Barbara of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Molly Keefe and her wife Jill of St. Albans. Besides his parents Francis and Dina, he was predeceased by a son Patrick Keefe in 2011.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Chapel. The family will receive condolences from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
