FAIRFIELD — Dorothy “Dorrie” Kaye, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ron and Carole Kaye of Fairfield, was married to Kyle DeCubellis, son of The Hon. and Mrs. John and Meg DeCubellis of Narragansett, Rhode Island on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015. The father of the groom performed the late afternoon ceremony at the bride’s parents’ home in Fairfield on a crisp, foliage-filled autumn day. The bride wore an ivory and lace, low-back gown with a family heirloom scalloped lace trim cathedral length veil, which her great-grandmother wore almost 100 years ago. She carried white hydrangeas with seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller accents and her grandmother’s vintage blue pin. The bride’s sisters and cousins served as the bridesmaids along with the groom’s sister. They wore long, tplum colored gowns with matching hydrangea bundles. The nieces of the bride were junior bridesmaids and flower girl and the nephew of the bride was ring bearer. The groom’s childhood and college friends along with the brother of the bride were groomsmen. All of the men wore black tuxedos with gray paisley bowties. The wedding reception was held in a large tent in the bride’s parents’ back yard, adorned with globe lights, farmhouse tables, dusty pink and mercury glass accents. After an evening of dinner, dancing, and merriment, the couple left the next day for their honeymoon to Barbados. The bride is a registered nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital and the groom is a mechanical engineer at Bose Corporation. They
