DERBY- Karen Diane (Snay) Clark, 56, of Derby, Vt. passed away at her home on July 4, 2018.  She was born on August 8, 1961 in Newport to George and Shirley (Dubois) Snay.

During her working years Karen enjoyed a position as a buyer for the Doolan Department Store in St Albans, Vt., and would often travel to Boston and New York.  In later years she worked as a store manager at the Duty Free in Swanton, Vt.  Among her hobbies, she was an avid reader, loved to watch old movies on television, and derived great pleasure from her nieces and nephews.  She loved her pets and she was a woman of strong faith.

She is survived by her loving companion of over 20 years, Pierre “Pete” LaChance of Derby, Vt., and by her siblings: Allan Snay and his wife Lynne of Shippensburg, Penn., Wayne Snay of Newport, Vt., Donna George of St. Albans, Vt., and Linda Cloutier and her husband Aime of Derby, Vt.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Alexander Snay and his wife Amanda of Twentynine Palms, Calif, Casey Haeberle and her husband Christian of Round Hill, Va., Collin Snay and his wife Ann of Beebe Plain, Vt., Derrick Snay of Newport, Vt., Barbara Moynan of St. George, Vt., Valerie Moynan of St. Albans, Vt., and Curtis Moynan of St. Albans, Vt.

She was predeceased by her parents.
