ST. ALBANS — Joseph “Reggie” Billodeau a lifelong area resident passed away on Wednesday July 30, 2014, at Redstone Villa with his loving family at his side.

Born in St. Albans on Dec. 9, 1945, he was the son of the late Victor and Yvonne (Gagne) Bilodeau.

Joseph served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and then was a longtime employee of Champlain Cable, EastShore Drywall and was a member of AA for 33 years.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (Bryce) Billodeau; his daughter, Tracy Billodeau; son Jody and his wife, Michelle and his grandchildren, Madison, Trace, Raeshelle, Myiah and Sophia, as well as his step-daughters, Tawnya Poquette and husband, Randy, and Lisa Glover and his step-grandchildren, Aidan, Paege, Ian, Elayne, Tyler and Dezrae.

Joseph is also survived by his siblings, Lionel, Pauline Greenia, Louise Smith and Alise Estell. In addition to his parents and several siblings, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Murphy.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Lakewood Campground, 122 Champlain Street, Swanton.

A graveside service with military honors will be conducted on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at 12:30 p.m. at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph.
