The Lord took our loving mom home on Dec. 9, 2015.

Janet was born on December 10, 1937 in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of Emile and Alberta Lehto.

Janet graduated in 1957 and shortly there after relocated to Fairfax, where she raised her family in 2009 Janet moved to Rutland to be closer to her daughter Mary.

Janet contributed to many organizations to include March of Dimes, St. Jude’s Children’s Fund, The American Heart Association and the Disabled Veterans.

Janet’s biggest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family. She loved to read, play bingo, work on puzzles, yard sales and relaxing on the front porch on a nice day.

She will be missed by her four daughters; Lynn Luman of Fairfax, Laurie Reyes of Bennington, Mary Jenkins of Rutland, and Karen Swain of Orlando, Fla; two sons, David Lumbra of Fairfax and John Lumbra of Alabama; a sister, Rita Boudreau of Oxford, Mass.; two brothers, David Lehto and Richard Lehto; 16 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister Helen Rawls and a granddaughter Khristina Luman.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at the Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main St, Rutland. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in St. Albans at 2 p.m.
