SWANTON — On Sept. 3, 2016 at 3:30 p.m., Lauren Lesley Hilliker and Kory Michael Beaulieu were joined in marriage.
Their romantic barn wedding and reception took place at the site of the Franklin County Field Days, with the ceremony officiated by friend Patty Rainville.
Lauren is the daughter of Susan Giovannangelo of St. Albans, and Robert Hilliker and stepmother Valarie Hilliker of Richford. The granddaughter of Robert and Barbara Giovannangelo of Ballston Spa N.Y., and Robert and Anna Mae Hilliker of Swanton. As well as step-grandparents David and Kelley Kennison of Berkshire, and step-great grandparents Joyce and Theodore “Ted” Wetherby of Richford.
Kory is the son of Mark and Mary Beaulieu of Swanton. He is the grandson of Jaques and Donna Beaulieu and Spencer and Ramona Cline, both also of Swanton.
Maid of honor was Megan Hilliker, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Beaulieu, sister in law of the groom, and Jessica Pelkey, cousin of the groom.
Best man was Kyle Beaulieu, brother of the groom, and groomsmen were Bradley Rainville, and Alex Elliott, both friends of the groom. Junior groomsmen was brother of the bride, Anthony Giovannangelo and Ring Bearer was nephew of the bride Caleb Smith.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of MVU, and is employed as a Machinist at Vermont Precision Tools in Swanton. The groom is a 2006 graduate of MVU and a 2007 graduate of Wyo-Tech in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. He is employed as a Welder/Fabricator at Blodgett Ovens in Burlington. They currently reside in Swanton.
The bride and groom would like to extend their thanks to their mother, Mary Beaulieu for the countless hours of crafting and decorating, sister Megan Hilliker for their beautiful cake, Jessica Pelkey of Salon Elixir for hair and makeup services, Hilary Robitaille for the amazing work with flowers, Jaclyn Schmitz Photography of Milton, as well as many family and friends for all the help in making their day beautiful and flawless.
