MONTREAL, CANADA/HIGHGATE —Hertel Raymond Boucher, age 89, died Nov. 14, 2013 in Sacred Heart Hospital in Montreal, Canada. He was born the son of the late Rene and Imelda (Choquette) Boucher.

After completing his elementary education at the local school at age 14, he chose to continue his education in Canada and lived and worked there for the rest of his life. He was predeceased by his wife, Jeannette L’Heureux.

He is survived by his sons Pierre (Diane), Robert (Louise), Jacques (Jose) and by his six granddaughters and a great-grandson. He is also survived by his companion of many years Andree Fontaine and her daughter (Annie) and two grandchildren.

He leaves his three brothers: John (Anita), Paul (Ellen), Gilbert (Gemma) and three sisters Claire (John dec), Lucille (Duane), Yvette (George) and a sister in law, Madeline.

He was predeceased by four brothers; Brother Laurent, CSC, Germain, Father Maurice, SSE, Dr. Bernard OB/GYN and a sister in law, Rita.

To comply with his wishes, the Family will celebrate a Funeral Mass in his memory on June 14. at 11 a.m. at St Louis Church in Highgate Center, and will receive family and friends after the burial, in the Church Hall.
