ST. ALBANS — Mrs. Helen M. Brann, age 94, died Feb. 25, 2015 in the Franklin County Rehab Facility, with her daughter Kathy by her side. She was born in Hyde Park, Mass., Aug. 6, 1920, daughter of the late Thomas H, and Mary F (Millett) Banks. She married Mr. John E. Brann, June 24, 1944. He predeceased her on Jan. 1, 2003. Helen received her master’s degree, and was a first grade teacher in Medfield, Mass., retiring in 1979.
Helen is survived by her five children, John E. Brann, Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Milford, Mass., Thomas B. Brann and his wife, Lois, of Hamden, Maine, Kathleen Brann of Georgia, Vt., David E. Brann and his wife, Adeline, of Hernando, Fla., and Paul J. Brann and his wife, Caroline, of Coconut Creek, Fla., 16 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her parents, her husband, John Brann, and a brother Father Edward J. Banks.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Spring at Holy Angels Church in St. Albans, to be followed by a gathering of family and friends to remember Helen and her life.
