SOUTH HERO — Harlow G. Frechette Jr, 64, of Hochelaga Road crossed over on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Against Mesothelioma, our dad was a fighter!
Harlow was born Aug. 3, 1951 to the late Eva Howard and Harlow Frechette Sr. He grew up on Lake Champlain in South Hero, graduated from Johnson State College and went to work for IBM in 1976.
Survived by his three children Matthew Frechette and his wife, Lianne, of St. Albans; Sarah Frechette and her partner, Jason Thibodeaux, of Portland, Ore.; Kenneth Frechette and his wife, Jodie, of Georgia; his grandchildren: Jade, Liberty, Ethan, Logan, Evan and Isabelle; his buddy David Porter, of Colchester; and his sisters, Joyce Fifield and Janet Salters. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Frechette.
Harlow was a member of Isle of Patmos Lodge #17 in So. Hero and Swanton Chapter #11 OES.
Celebration of Harlow’s life will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Malletts Bay Congregational Church UCC in Colchester.
