ST. ALBANS — On Saturday, July 19, 2014, Danielle Marie Hakey, daughter of Eli and Dina Hakey, married Gordon David McLaughlin, son of Allan and Tina McLaughlin all of St. Albans.
The ceremony was held outside in the beautiful courtyard at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Burlington and officiated by Dick Thompson. A reception was held in the ballroom at the DoubleTree by Hilton.
The Maid of Honor was Jessica Hakey, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Emily McLaughlin, sister of the groom, Heidi Kaufmann, friend of the bride and Sarah Longway, friend of the bride. The Best Man was Russell Paterek, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Edward Hakey, brother of the bride, Tim Forcier, friend of the groom and Nick Covillon, friend of the groom.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of BFA-St. Albans. She received a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2011 from SUNY Plattsburgh. She is employed as a Speech Language Pathologist at Northwestern Medical Center. The groom is a 2003 graduate of BFA-St. Albans. He is employed as a Network Support Technician at Sovernet Communications.
Danielle and Gordon honeymooned in Jamaica and have made their home in St. Albans.
