ST. ALBANS — Grace E. (d’Eon) Mulvaney, 90, of St. Albans, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, on March 9,2015, at home surrounded by her family. Grace was born in Boston, Mass., on Dec. 7,1924 the daughter of the late Maximin J. and Anna (d’Entremont) d’Eon. She attended Holy Trinity School in Roxbury, Mass. She started working for New England Telephone in 1942 and retired to St Albans in 1987. She was married to Richard P. Mulvaney who predeceased her in 1998. She was a member of Holy Angels Church and the Ladies of St. Anne as well as an associate of the Holy Cross. She was a volunteer at Northwest Medical Center for over 20 years and on the Board of the Auxiliary.
Grace leaves her daughter Susan Slay and partner, Frederick Dean of St. Albans, son Richard P. Mulvaney, Jr. and his wife, Frances Todd, of North Haverhill, N.H., daughter Mary Beth LaShoto and husband, Peter, of Cleveland, Ga.; grandchildren Judd Slay, Jon and his wife, Mei Slay, of Redondo Beach, Calif., Marissa and her husband, David Forcier, of Sheldon, Steven and his wife, Destiny LaShoto, of Flowery Branch, Ga., Nathan LaShoto of Atlanta, Ga., Daniel LaShoto of Cleveland, Ga., Seth and his wife, Krystal Todd, of San Diego, Calif., Nicholas Todd of Burlington, Vt., Jacob and his wife, Amy Todd, of Essex Junction, and great granddaughter Veda Quinn LaShoto of Flowery Branch, Ga.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 12 noon in Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church, 246 Lake Street, St Albans. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brady and Levesque, 86 South Main Street, St Albans.
