RICHFORD — Georganna L. Anderson, age 79, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, March 12, 2016.
She was born in Montgomery Center on July 29, 1936, the daughter of the late Grant and Attrude (Domina) Kidder. She graduated from Foley High School, in Foley, Ala. in 1954.
Georgi was a long time resident of Richford, and attended the First Baptist Church where, in earlier years, she sang alto in the choir. She participated in the Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child for 15 plus years, packing in excess 85 shoeboxes yearly, with toys and necessities for needy children in the U.S., and all over the world.
Georgi loved music; especially Country, Gospel, and Gaelic/Celtic. In addition, she was an original member of the Richford Home Town Follies cast.
She loved painting, was an expert crocheter, and enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds. She also enjoyed going to yard sales.
Georgi worked as a teacher’s aide at the Richford Elementary School; sold Avon, and worked for CS Emery as a Customs Broker.
She is survived by her children, Mark S. Pynduss and his wife, Barbara, of Alburgh, Marceen A. Pynduss and her partner, Nilda A. Farnham, of Georgia, and Lucinda S. Szcesniak and her husband, John, of Schodack Ctr., N.Y.; her grandchildren, Jamina Cook and her husband, Michael, Jeffrey Pynduss and his wife, Jennifer, Jon Pynduss and his wife, Sarah, Camber Szczesniak and Kathleen Szczesniak; her great grandchildren, Annika and Calixte Cook, and Hannah and Annabelle Pynduss; her brothers and their wives, Douglas and Jane Kidder of Richford, and James and Shirley Kidder of Bay City, Ore.; her sister-in-law, Linda Kidder of Seaside, Ore.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Georganna was predeceased by her husband Arthur ‘Andy’ Anderson; her brother, Richard Kidder; and her sister, Andrea Bowden.
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 16, 2016 at 1 pm at the First Baptist Church of Richford, 30 School Street, Richford, with Rev. Timothy Stetson officiating. There will be no visiting hours.
