ST. ALBANS — On Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, Brittany French and Daren Rivard were united in marriage at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Albans. Brittany is the daughter of John French of Jeffersonville and Judi French of Sheldon, and Daren is the son of William Rivard of Newport and Betty Rivard of Enosburg Falls. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Father Maurice Roy and Father Roger Charbonneau with readings by Susan Weeks and Kathy Kreber , aunts of the bride and groom. Gifts were presented by Dayton Brown, brother-in-law of the bride, and Ryan Newell, friend of the bride and groom. Music was provided by Claire Chevalier-Hungerford. Immediately following, a reception was held at the Sheraton Hotel Burlington.

The Matron of Honor was Heather French and the Maid of Honor was Carita French, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Courtney Dulude and Alicia Sherman, friends of the bride. Flower Girls were Avery Rivard and Kelsie Rivard, nieces of the groom. The Bestman was Nathan Rivard, brother of the groom. The Groomsmen were Samuel Rosen, Brendan Wadesworth, and Bradley Bates, friends of the groom. Ring Bearer was Tyler Rivard, nephew of the groom.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Plattsburgh State University with a Bachelor’s in Physics and is employed at Husky Injection Molding Systems in Milton as a Quality Analyst. The groom is a 2012 graduate of Vermont Technical College with a Bachelor’s in Business/Construction Management and is employed at Dale E. Percy Inc. in Stowe as an Assistant Project Manager.

Brittany and Daren will honeymoon in the Caribbean in January and have made their home in Enosburg Falls.
