ST. ALBANS — The Northwestern Medical Center has announced the birth of the first baby of 2014.
On Wednesday, Jan. 1, Graham Kilkka Clements became the first baby born at NMC in the new year.
Parents Ryan and Marissa Clements, of Franklin, were happy to meet their bouncing baby boy who was born at 12:52 p.m., weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21-and-a-half inches tall, said a statement issued by the hospital.
As the first baby born at NMC in 2014, Graham becomes the recipient of the prize package compiled by the St. Albans Messenger honoring the “First Baby of 2014.”
A statement from the hospital today said that the NMC family would like to wish Graham and his family a happy and healthy New Year.
The first baby of the year in Vermont was Levi Michael Latterell, born to Ryan Latterell and Christine Nasca, of Rutland, at 2:56 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
